Taught by Laura Dalton
About the Instructor
Laura Dalton urban homesteads in North Portland with honeybees, chickens,
garden and a tiny orchard, and hopes to have her own real farm someday.
Laura has led community workshops in the past on beekeeping, chicken tractor
construction and power tool safety. She helped found and co-leads the Zenger
Farm Community Bee Project and also helped to found and run the North
Portland Tool Library in Kenton. When she's not tending her homestead or
chasing honeybee swarms, she teaches fabrication and runs the sculpture shop
for Reed College.
