Conquering E-mail Overload
Saturday, March 3, 2012, 12:30 - 4:30 PM http://centeredemail.eventbrite.com/ In this half day session hosted by Leaven Project, we'll reimagine our approach to using e-mail and then learn how to bring mindfulness to our overall workflow.
Conquering E-mail Overload
E-mail is an integral part of our lives and work, but most of us approach it by trial and error. It's easy to get buried and frustrated. More intentional, effective use of e-mail has the potential to transform our work and lighten our spirits. By the end of this session, you will be able to:
• Explain what’s required to create a trusted system for managing email
• Identify and correct common mistakes busy people make with email
• Implement simple strategies to work through backlog and keep up with input
Centered Productivity: Improving Focus Through Mindfulness
A deliciously relaxing session that will leave you feeling a sense of zen-like mastery over your workflow. Through this session, you'll:
• Understand what mindfulness is, how it works, and how it applies to productivity
• Appreciate the relationship between mindfulness and focus
• Learn ways to practice mindfulness during your daily activities
