Speaker Bios:

Nova Hamar, CFRE Partner, Lewis Kennedy Associates

Nova’s work for LKA includes annual fund development, strategic planning, direct mail, gift club development, and sustained giving programs. She has worked with a numerous organizations including Oregon Public Broadcasting, Swedish Medical Center Foundation (Seattle), The Library Foundation (Portland, OR), Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Western Rivers Conservancy, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and many others. Her work with Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) was recognized with an International ECHO Award from the Direct Marketing Association. Nova’s previous development positions include Assistant Director of Individual Giving at Oregon Public Broadcasting and Membership and Annual Giving Manager at the Oregon Zoo (formerly, Friends of Washington Park Zoo).

 

Anne Ibach, Membership Director, Oregon Public Broadcasting

Oregon Public Broadcasting is one of the state’s largest membership based non-profit organizations. With over 110,000 active members, Anne is responsible for OPB’s strategies and implementation in member and viewer services, member cultivation, direct mail fundraising, donor database management, email renewals and online giving, and the Sustaining Circle program.

Anne specialties include creating efficiencies and streamlining efforts in order to maximize OPB’s membership fundraising efforts and increase donor retention. In her first year on the job Anne revitalized the already robust and successful Sustainer program, increasing members from 8,000 in FY 2010 to over 12,000 in FY 2011. OPB is on track to realize 18,000 Sustaining members in FY 2012.

Anne’s previous positions include membership manager at KUED Public Television in Salt Lake City, UT and her fundraising career spans nearly 20 years.
