position summary:

Girls Inc. of NW Oregon is seeking diverse, educated, and energetic facilitators to lead afterschool programming that inspires girls to be strong, smart, bold and prepared for confident and economically independent adulthood. Positions are part time.

Depending on availability, facilitators could be assigned up to four groups to manage at school-based sites. Each school-based site consists of up to 15 girls. Duties include facilitation of weekly groups at each site as well as 1:1 support for enhanced academic performance, peer relationships, and family functioning. Build relationships and rapport with girls, school personnel, and community partners. Participate in case coordination with referring partners and school staff.

Volunteering

Gift Wrap for the Sunshine Division

The Portland Police Bureau Sunshine Division has a gift wrapping table at the Lloyd Center this week and due to volunteers feeling under the weather and changes in holiday plans we have some shifts that need help. The space and supplies are donated by the Lloyd Center and the Sunshine Division keeps 100% of all the donations. Want to help?
