Q & A

Seeking In-Kind Space

INROADS/Pacific Northwest, an internship program for talented minority students, will be losing the in-kind office space it has received for the past 7 years and is need of a new home in the downtown area by April 1st.  The Pacific Northwest region is staffed by just one-person, so office space needs are minimal.  If you have any in-kind space to share, please contact Michelle Neal, Regional Director, at mneal@inroads.orgor 503-248-1298.

PLAN, EXECUTE AND EVALUATE

There’s no mystery to the annual individual giving development plan, but it needs to be planned like a bank robbery, executed like a space shuttle launch and evaluated like a MRI. In this workshop we’ll discuss the development cycle, the organization’s mission from the donor perspective, the elements of a comprehensive individual giving plan, developing the donor continuum, and how to evaluate a fundraising program and its activities for future success.

ED Peer Discussion Series

They frequently provide support to their staffs and boards yet neglect to find outlets for their own development.  When you participate in the E.D. Peer Discussion Group, you’ll have the time to address challenging issues in a confidential forum with colleagues.

The initial discussion will focus on evaluation of the executive director by the board of directors.  Subsequent topics will be selected by participants in the group.

Who Is This For?
Executive directors at all stages of their careers.  This is intentionally a very small group, so sign up now!
