Child Aid is privileged to work with a group of teachers and principals who travel to Guatemala to work in the schools and libraries we support.  For 2011, they will be returning to Guatemala for a third time to build bookshelves for a number of the community libraries around Lake Atitlan and in the Boca Costa region of Guatemala.

Volunteering

S. Tabor Harvest Festival needs volunteers!

Greetings,

Do you like Autumn? Food? Gardening? Hay bales??

The South Tabor Harvest Festival is in need of volunteers for a variety of
planning and outreach projects. We're also in need of plenty of day-of
volunteers, including someone to host a gardening/plot planning workshop.

The event will take place on Sunday, September 18th from 12:30 to 4:30 and
will host the 3rd annual Harvest Swap--a place to exchange the bounty of
your own backyard with friends and neighbors.

If you're interested in learning more about how you can help the event,
please email Aron Stephens at aronstephens@gmail.com
