Women's Journaling as Spiritual Practice
Whether you are a longtime or first time journal keeper, this book study
will help you go below the surface of your life with God. It
is not about the art of writing, but instead how journaling can form us
spiritually. God wants to surprise you with the beauty of your own life,
growing and alive, filled with movement, light and shadow. Through attentive
writing, encounter God.

Volunteering
Dinner for 100 - Help Needed!
Adults and teens needed! As part of Living Earth's "Brown Bag Project," on Tuesday, August 23, volunteers will be planning, preparing, and serving a full "sit-down" dinner for 100 homeless men. We'd love more volunteers, so if you're looking for an easy, friendly way to be of service this summer, this is it. Info is available at http://livingearthgatherings.org/brown-bag-dinner/.
We will be using the kitchen / dining facilities at a transitional housing shelter in SE Portland, and once everyone is served, we'll sit and enjoy the meal with everyone. Post back or give a call to 503-771-1940 if you'd like to help with this project on Tuesday, August 23, 4:30-9:00 pm.
