Free training on Clark County substance abuse treatment options

With recent budget cuts, options for low-income individuals seeking treatment for drug and alcohol dependency are changing. Do you work, or volunteer, in social services? Are you interested in learning more about current treatment options available for yourself, or your loved ones?

Council for the Homeless is offering a free training on the subject on Thursday, November 17th from 2pm-3pm at the Vancouver Housing Authority in the Hough Conference Room. The training is open to case managers, shelter staff and volunteers, social service professionals and community members. Our presenter will be Brandy Whitney, Clinical Director with Lifeline Connections.
