We are seeking volunteer puppeteers!

Description

Puppeteers for Kids on the Block Awareness Program visit elementary schools and community youth groups throughout Clark County, Washington, and Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas Counties in Oregon, bringing powerful, educational messages about how to stay healthy and safe.

No experience is needed to become a puppeteer. We will train you and provide you with the skills, knowledge, and materials you will need. We ask that you visit two schools per month and have a 1 year commitment. You must drive or have a reliable means of transportation.

Training takes place on Tuesday evenings for six consecutive weeks. New trainings are throughout the year. Contact us to find out about the next training session. Application and interview or orientation are required to participate in training.

Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about the Kids on the Block Awareness Program or would like an application.
