Mariposa Women's Luncheon - A Youth Progress Association Event

Do you remember your first school dance, your sweet sixteen or realizing that your mom can be your friend too?

For many of us, those are just a few of the steps that have made us the women we are today. Unfortunately, the young women in Youth Progress Association’s Mariposa Program never had the opportunity to make some of these memories. Many of the young women were abused, experienced multiple foster homes, have lower functioning IQ's and ended up in the juvenile detention system. While at Youth Progress Association, the young women have access to vocational training, an accredited school, counseling, social enrichment, therapeutic proctor home living and the chance to successfully transition into the community.

Please join the young women at their party to help them celebrate their youth and envision a positive, healthy future.
