Nine-Month Series: On the Way to Global Justice

Join the Pacific Center for Global Justice as we launch our nine-month series on one of the more complex, significant, hopeful, and yet elusive phenomena of our age: global justice. While the world appears to be shrinking ala globalization, our lives seem to be increasingly more fragmented. Many of us yearn for a deeper connection to our families, our neighbors, our work, and our planet.

How does a better understanding of global justice strengthen the bonds between us? How can we be more effective working for justice on a vast scale? The Pacific Center for Global Justice offers participants this nine-month program as a way to integrate some of the more fruitful dimensions of justicemaking using an integrative approach of contemplation, analysis, and action.

Dates: First Thursdays, March 4, 2010 - November 4, 2010 Times: 4-7PM Location: Downtown Portland Fee amount: $300 (payment plan/scholarships available)
