Managing Director

One of three key staff positions, the Managing Director oversees the business side of a producing theatre company—including financial management, budgeting, fundraising, marketing, public relations, planning and strategizing, and the production of collateral materials and publications.

Key Responsibilities: The Managing Director is responsible for the overall non-artistic/administrative management of the company, with a significant role in fundraising, budgeting, financial management, marketing and board relations. The Managing Director works closely with the Board of Directors, the Administrative Director and the Artistic Director to plan and execute the operations of a producing theatre company.
