Wild Men on the Journey In our day, men are increasingly hungry for a deepening spirit in their lives.  Lifting ideas from Richard Rohr’s “The Wild Man’s Journey” the facilitators will explore themes important to a man’s spiritual journey as well as faith practices and experiences that will strengthen and support men on their journeys.  Facilitate by Rev. Men’s Wisdom Circle Men rarely talk deeply about their heart felt feelings and beliefs. Yet it is in the process of sharing with others that we discern our innermost beliefs and face our most profound questions. This 6-month series will establish a sacred circle of trust as we explore topics from the bible, spiritual writings, and our life experiences. The wisdom of the circle comes not from the facilitator but from all who participate.  When: 1st Thursday, beginning Sept. 3 through Feb. Poetry as Prayer: A Lenten Morning of Reflection Saturday March 6th from 9:30am – 12:00pm.  Cost is $25. Lent is the season when God brings us into the desert, to speak tenderly to our hearts.   At this Lenten morning of reflection we’ll explore poetry as prayer, allowing the poems of, Robert Herrick, T.S. Eliot, Denise Levertov, David Whyte, and others to lead us into that desert conversation.  The day will include brief notes about the poets and their poems, silent time, and sharing. Lenten Labyrinth Walks Tuesdays March 16, 23 & 30th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.  Cost is a donation.
