| position summary: | Provides supervision to a team of Mental Health Service Clinicians primarily serving African American youth with co-occurring disorders. Duties include completing performance evaluations for all assigned staff, carrying a caseload of clients, providing crisis response and consultation for team members, interfacing with various community partners, participating in program development, performing quality management functions and providing various services as needed. Requires access to a car. |

| Qualifications: | This position requires a Master's degree in an approved mental health related field (Must meet QMHP criteria as defined by State law). Knowledge and proficiency in individual and family therapy, including theoretical models a must. At least two years experience working with the African American population and applying knowledge of African American culture, values and needs in a clinical setting is also required. Additionally, proficient and timely documentation, self-discipline, and organizational skills are required. License preferred. |
