Join experts for a hands-on workshop all about the Columbia Slough, a slow-moving channel of water that flows through North & Northeast Portland, Fairview, and Gresham. Learn about the history, wildlife, and water flow of the Columbia Slough, and discuss current issues and projects. Experts will lead hands-on activities including a tour of a pump station and water bug discovery. Suitable for adults and teens. Pre-registration is required, and light refreshments will be provided. This free workshop is hosted by the Columbia Slough Watershed Council.
