Animal Aid Development Director opportunity, Beaverton

Animal Aid, a non-profit dog and cat rescue organization with a small shelter, is seeking an experienced part time development director to increase current donor contributions and develop new individual, corporate and foundation donors. 

Bachelor’s degree in development, fundraising, public relations or related field and at least 3 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a non-profit, advocacy or other community based organization.  Public speaking experience and a sense of humor are a must as well as a strong interest in animal rescue/welfare.  Will work some of the time in the shelter so must not have cat allergies.

Events & Marketing Internships at the Portland Rose Festival

The Portland Rose Festival is currently hiring our crew of interns for 2009! Our application deadline has been extended to December 15, 2008.

We have multiple internships available in Special Events, Events Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, and Sponsorhip Management. Our interns get hands-on, real-world experience producing one of the largest events in Oregon.
