Children And Family Enrichment(CAFE)Program, a program of Metropolitan Family Service, is hiring creative and energetic instructors to teach academic and enrichment classes to students during the Fall 2010 Session. This program focuses on academic enrichment by offering interdisciplinary activities after school.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• General Ledger: Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts according to schedule, including investigating and resolving differences and posting correcting entries. Reconcile all contributions with development department records.

• Process Accounts Payable: Review invoices and check requests for accuracy and authorization, resolve invoice discrepancies, code, enter and post; prepare all cash disbursements. Match invoices or receipts and check requests, ensure timely payments, maintain vendor files, correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries, and produce monthly reports.

• Accounts Receivable: Prepare monthly invoices and journal entries for all contracts and other receivables in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain accounts receivable records and monitor collections. Alert appropriate staff of outstanding receivables. Prepare monthly A/R aging for management review.

Project Metamorphosis is currently looking for Recovery Transition Advocates to fill entry level, part-time positions within an innovative grant program. Position involves ability to act as a peer among 16-24 year old youth, providing support, information, referral and crisis intervention to homeless and street dependent youth. Candidates will have experience with addiction issues and homelessness. Qualifications include: experience and/or knowledge of the issues of homelessness, mental health and drug and alcohol addiction. GED/high school diploma preferred, at least 1 year in recovery required as well as a pre-employment drug screening.
