Membership Manager

organization:Oregon Humane Society
position summary:

The Oregon Humane Society found homes for over 11,000 animals in 2010 and is one of the premier private animal welfare organizations in the United States. Our goal is to build a community of compassion - through adoption of homeless pets, animal welfare legislation, humane education, abuse investigation, and community outreach and leadership. In order to achieve our goal and continuously improve on our annual outcomes, OHS set a strategic objective to grow membership from 14,000 to 20,000 over the next three and half years.

The Opportunity
This aggressive growth strategy presents an ambitious opportunity for the right person. Given normal attrition rates, we expect that at least 10,000 new persons will join the already 14,000 strong in their support of OHS programs and initiatives to save lives in Oregon. If you are confident, collaborative, hardworking, and a gifted storyteller/writer, we want you to try your ideas!
