Residential Counselor – Adolescent Program at De Paul Treatment Centers

De Paul Treatment Centers serves the greater Portland community by providing drug and alcohol addiction treatment services. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Residential Counselor at De Paul Youth & Family Center; our Youth Residential Facility in NE Portland. The Residential Counselor position provides professional treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders in a supportive, team-oriented co-ed residential environment. Responsibilities include group facilitation, individual counseling, family support/intervention, crisis intervention, case management and assistance with residential milieu management. Caseloads are reasonable (approximately 6 youth).  Candidates for this outstanding opportunity must be familiar with strength-based counseling, Positive Youth Development, and have knowledge of dual diagnosis, DBT, SOC and MI. MA preferred, CADC required. Bilingual and bicultural applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
