People Helping People helps adults with disabilities rebuild their lives. Our major fundraiser for 2008 is a BIG rummage sale. The sale will be held August 15 and 16 in Hillsboro. We need volunteers to help us set up, price, and take down. If you LOVE rummage sales and want to support our services to disabled adults who are falling through the cracks in the social service and health care systems, please contact me. Looking for bags
Sunshine Division is looking for a donation of grocery size bags for an event, preferably the eco-friendly reusable, washable kind.
Sunshine Division is an emergency food and clothing nonprofit here in Portland. In August we will host a Nutrition Night for our clients. The event will feature a BBQ dinner, family and kids' activities, and many great organizations offering nutrition and health resources for families.
We are looking for a donation of bags for the event. The bags will be used by our clients to take home nutrition literature and giveaways. Giveaways include fresh produce, hygiene products and community resource information. We need 50 bags. If anyone has bags they could donate or connections that might be useful, please let me know.
