VOLUNTEER: People Helping People Needs Help With Our Rummage Sale

Looking for bags

Sunshine Division is looking for a donation of grocery size bags for an event, preferably the eco-friendly reusable, washable kind.

Sunshine Division is an emergency food and clothing nonprofit here in Portland. In August we will host a Nutrition Night for our clients. The event will feature a BBQ dinner, family and kids' activities, and many great organizations offering nutrition and health resources for families.

 We are looking for a donation of bags for the event. The bags will be used by our clients to take home nutrition literature and giveaways. Giveaways include fresh produce, hygiene products and community resource information. We need 50 bags. If anyone has bags they could donate or connections that might be useful, please let me know.

Does anyone have any leads for finding literature racks? The Lents International Farmers Market is improving its information booth and needs a way to display a lot of information. I welcome any suggestions or spare lit. racks you happen to have lying around.
