VOZ Workers' Rights Education Project was founded in June 2000 to organize around day labor and immigrant rights in the Portland metropolitan area. After an 8-year campaign, VOZ saw its long-time vision of a Portland Day Labor Center come to fruition.

The Center has provided a safe place where workers are guaranteed at least a living wage of $10 an hour, where they can participate in art, music, and English classes, and where employers can be sure to find competent, respectful workers.

Come join us in our celebration of this great resource to both day laborers and the Portland community as a whole!
