Enjoy a fun-filled, educational morning, Saturday, October 24, with Ivy Manning, personal chef, cooking instructor and author of The Farm to Table Cookbook, as she introduces you to nutritious "small plates" that can be served as party appetizers or eaten as a delicious meal. Ms. Manning will also discuss strategies for healthy holiday eating. Meet Linda Hastings, Fitness/Wellness Director, Southwest Community Center, Portland Parks and Recreation, and learn about Portland-area community centers and the wide range of indoor activities available to support your efforts to stay active during the winter months. Browse resource tables, ask questions, sample food and take home information for your own "get healthy--stay healthy" program.
