The Oregon Military Museum seeks an experienced Development Director, for 32 hours a week, with an annual renewable contract. Salary: $35,000 to $40,000. Deadline: June 25, 2010. The award-winning Oregon Military Museum is closed temporarily as it transitions to the 1954 Clackamas Armory Building at the Oregon National Guard's Camp Withycombe. The Oregon Military Museum has successfully relocated its assets from four buildings to the Armory, however it is seeking funding to complete necessary remodeling before unpacking and re-opening to the public.

Salary / Pay Rate:$35,000 to $40,000
Required Skills and Abilities:1. Skill in administrative tasks and knowledge of office productivity and workflow. 2. Demonstrated success in activities that coordinate, attract, and close major gift funding, including face-to-face solicitation of significant gifts. 3. Demonstrated success and evidence of ability to plan and execute a fund drive. 4. Demonstrated leadership, management, and administrative skills that articulate the critical role of philanthropy, and that motivate and stimulate founders, donors, and foundations.
