position summary:

The full time Outreach Planner will work closely with the Executive Director and member CLTs to create effective messages and a strategic communications plan that will target effective outreach to prospective home buyers as well as to funders and policy makers.

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): • Primary research including conducting interviews, creating surveys and compiling data. • Write and organize planning documents and manuals such as Strategic Communications Plan and Outreach and Marketing Plans. • Create and disseminate marketing materials that increase awareness of the CLT model and the work of the Coalition. • Develop and maintain reference materials and resource materials to share with CLTs. • Develop processes to organize and streamline information flow.

Salary / Pay Rate:MLK VISTAs receive a $977/month living allowance with the choice of a $5,320 educational award OR a one-time $1,500 stipend at the end of your year of service. Other benefits will include health insurance, day care assistance, food benefits [food stamps], and a number of other perks. You'll also receive a year of free professional and personal development training and workshops in a number of areas.
