Call for ART!!! SCRAP hosts Altered Art Show

SCRAP is looking for artists who use recycled, altered, or rescued materials in their artwork for an art show themed "ALTER EGO" Come bring your art and be apart of a fun time.

Are you clever?? Scrappy? Broke artist w/o means to actually BUY art materials? Maybe you have been going through others trash to rescue treasures that would otherwise find its way to a landfill. Call it what you will.... RESCUED ART is what it becomes. DEAR ME, I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU!!

S.C.R.A.P. (School and Community Reuse Action Project) is hosting a show at the Rocking Frog Cafe (25th & Belmont) Oct. 1-31st. The show title is "Alter Ego" .....

Alter- (ol'ter) v. To change or make/become different; modify

Ego (ee.goh, eg-oh)n. - The "I" or self of any person: a person as thinking, feeling and willign and distinguishing itself from the selves of others of its thought.

"Alter Ego" will feature local artist who are using recycled/reclaimed materials in their artwork. Come and be apart of it.

Please send 3 jpg pictures with an image description and and and an artist statement to [email protected] by Sept 26th.

Opening reception October 4th. Foods, Drinks, music.. performance art? recycled vintage video clips? Bring what you have!!
