Funding Available for Civics and Law-Related Education Programs

The Multnomah Bar Foundation (MBF) is now accepting letters of inquiry for its 2009 Grant Cycle.

The MBF awards grants to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations for projects that are aligned with its mission: To increase the public’s understanding of the legal system; to promote civic education, public participation and respect for the law; and to improve the quality and administration of the legal system.

Letters of inquiry for the 2009 grant cycle must be received by January 14, 2009. The MBF’s guidelines and letter of inquiry instructions can be found at www.mbabar.org/foundation.htm.
