Native Plant Sale Volunteers Needed!

Volunteer at EMSWCD’s Annual Native Plant Sale!

Like Native Plants? Want to help out with a fun community event?

Then EMSWCD’s 8th Annual Native Plant Sale is for you!

No native plant expertise needed.

Volunteers are needed to help make the Native Plant Sale a success! We are looking for people to help before and during the event. See below for more info. Plenty of refreshments will be provided and you’ll also receive a FREE NATIVE PLANT for your garden!

Pre-Event Volunteers:

Help prepare for Saturday’s Plant Sale Pick-Up. Plant Sorters will work with EMSWCD staff to bundle and sort plants. 3 hour (longer if you want!) shifts are available on February 17, 18 & 19 from 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. You are also welcome to stay for both shifts if you wish – just let us know.

Day of Event Volunteers:

Help distribute plants at the Plant Pick-Up on Saturday, February 21. Plant Runners help to distribute plants to people who pre-ordered plants.

For more information and to sign up for a volunteer shift contact Katie Meckes at [email protected] or call 503-935-5368.

The EMSWCD Native Plant Sale is an opportunity for people to get local native plants at a very low cost with most trees and shrubs priced at just $2.00 - $3.00 each. Check out what’s available now at www.emswcd.org. Happy plant shopping!
