Camp In Instructor

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is seeking multiple temporary part-time Camp In Instructors who will are responsible for preparing and presenting engaging science activities for campers and their chaperones during Museum Camp-Ins and Sub-Ins.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills relating to children as well as adults, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of and enthusiasm for informal science education.

Candidate must have a minimum one year experience teaching in a classroom or informal setting, a Bachelor’s degree in education or science field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and pass pre-employment checks such as criminal background check, fingerprint and reference checks.
Current CPR and first aid certification required (training provided) and current teaching license is preferred.

Pay Range: $10.28 - $12.33 per hour.
