Educational Program Manager

NTEN seeks an Educational Program Manager, a person passionate about helping nonprofits learn to use technology to further their missions and causes. This position will be critical to adding a higher level of quality and evaluation to NTEN’s various educational offerings. Reporting to NTEN’s Program Director, the Educational Program Manger will be an integral part of the Program team but also working with staff across the organization. The key goals for this position will be educating and supporting nonprofit staff to gain the necessary skills to integrate technology into their work as well as working closely with presenters to ensure quality offerings. The position is full-time with benefits.

Aligned with these goals, the Educational Program Manager must accomplish the following:

Program Development & Planning

* Plan, implement, and evaluate NTEN's online educational programming in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
* Research and define learning needs for NTEN community and greater nonprofit sector in relation to NTEN’s mission.
* Develop learning objectives in coordination with NTEN presenters for specific programs.
* Ensure that learning objectives and programs align with annual online educational programming plan.
* Conduct ongoing evaluation of online educational program.

Presenter Training & Evaluation

* Coordinate with NTEN presenters throughout the webinar lifecycle from defining learning objectives to evaluation.
* Develop training materials for speakers about various program formats.
* Conduct trainings with NTEN speakers as needed.
* Coordination of presenters for the Nonprofit Technology Conference.

Certification Program Development for Nonprofit Technology Leaders

* Research existing certification models.
* Create a certification model plan for implementation.

Program Management

* Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the online educational program to maintain or improve quality.
* Participate in weekly program team meetings to ensure delivery is aligned with goals.

Financial Management & Planning

* In coordination with Program Director, ensure that the online educational program plan meets revenue from approved budget.
