Aging & Disability Services (ADS) Long Term Care program is seeking a Limited Duration Eligibility Trainer. This position is funded through December 2014, or longer, based on program need.

If you enjoy teaching others and have a knack for breaking down complex material into easy to understand steps, this position may be right for you. You will need to bring your creativity and organizational skills and we'll give you a variety of technologies and resources so that you can build a sustainable Medicaid training curriculum for the ADS Long Term Care program, with a focus on Eligibility workers.

Salary / Pay Rate:$50,801.04 - $62,472.96 Annually

Qualifications:Required Minimum Qualifications / Transferable Skills*: Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social work, sociology, public health, English, journalism, business administration or public administration or a related field AND Experience: Two (2) years of responsible program planning, development, research assistance or evaluation experience Relevant experience may substitute for education Critical / Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities / Transferable Skills*: Advanced knowledge and experience with Medicaid case management methods, Medicaid program processes and Oregon state computer systems used to certify benefits and maintain Medicaid client data, and Advanced knowledge of program eligibility laws (OARs) and policies related to the administration of federal and state financial, medical and long-term care benefit programs for the elderly and individuals with disabilities as well as the federal SNAP (nutrition) program Working knowledge of and ability to effectively use/implement contemporary office practices/operations, equipment, desktop applications such as Microsoft office suite products and computer program systems/software unique to the administration of Oregon Medicaid and SNAP program administration. Experience with desktop publishing and e-learning software is a plus
