Enroll now -Classes beginning for the Nonprofit Cohort - Graduate Certificate in Public Management
The first session of the exciting new Nonprofit Cohort-Graduate Certificate program at Portland State University is about to begin There is still time to register for the first two courses and apply to be part of this exciting new cohort. Classes begin Friday, January 20. Admission to the full Certificate requires an application.
“Introduction to Public Administration-Nonprofit Focus” and “Financial Management for Nonprofit Organizations” kick off this program which features
*Weekend intensive courses/yearlong program
*Personalized performance challenge
*Mentoring with established leaders in the sector
*Experienced nonprofit professional faculty
The Grad Certificate is a 21 credit accelerated cohort program especially designed for ambitious and forward looking professionals who are ready to assume advanced leadership roles in public service, particularly in nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. Over the course of a year (7 courses, 21 credit hours) students will be challenged to examine effective strategies to wrestle with the “wicked” problems affecting the nonprofit sector and society at large. Cost per course averages $1 550. Financial aid available to students admitted to the full program.
Regular nonprofit courses begin this week.
