Milwaukie Parkinson's Exercise Group

Join others to practice exercises that will help increase strength,
flexibility and balance as well as improve coordination and help delay the
progression of symptoms of Parkinson's Disease.

Dates: Mondays & Fridays July thru December

Time: 10:00am-11:00am

Recognizing God in You

The Visitation: a Model of Friendship

We will experience how Mary's visit to her cousin Elizabeth was the essence
of friendship. Exploring the Visitation and Mary's Magnificat through art,
video, music, writings and the sacred labyrinth, we will identify what is
important to each of us in the heart-ties of being friends.

Dates: Saturday July 9

Art is for Everyone

Surprise that voice within that says you can only draw stick figures! Come
and play with fun art stuff, mess around, with your imagination as guide,
and learn how much you already know, and how much fun it is to create when
you can't mess up. We will try a number of different materials. Some art
history may apply (but not the stuffy kind)!

Leadership Resources for Renewal

Balanced leaders listen to their truest self and lead from the deep
resources of their inner being to create opportunities for growth,
creativity, order, justice and prosperity. Staying balanced, however, is
difficult. The aim of this program is twofold: to provide leaders with tools
that can help them stay connected to their own deepest source of wisdom and
to create a listening space, or time away, in which leaders can share their
experience with other leaders in a mutually supportive setting.

When: July 26, August 23, September 27

12 Step Spirituality: A God of Our Understanding

Alcoholics Anonymous has over 1,000,000 adherents worldwide. A spiritual
program of recovery- rather than a religion, AA has influenced our culture
in myriad ways. This workshop will consider Alcoholics Anonymous and its
historic influences: Ernest Holmes New Thought and The Oxford Movement as
well as the spiritual principles and tools that have contributed to the
movement's influence.

Date: Tuesday July 12
