Gift Entry and Donor Records Specialist Friends of the Children - Portland, a nationally recognized, dynamic non-profit mentoring organization serving high-risk children in our community, is currently recruiting for a Gift Entry and Donor Records Specialist to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organization that gives children an opportunity to realize their unique potential. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an excellent work environment and benefit package. Are you known for your love of all things data and do you understand the value and importance to the organization of accurate and timely donor and gift data entry? Do you believe there isn’t such a thing as too much attention to detail? Are you motivated by a job well done? Are you always looking for ways to improve the outcome and be more efficient in getting there? Finally, are you eager to research solutions to challenges, willing to learn from others and likewise able to share your knowledge and experience with them? Do you have the following skills and experience? • Enter and update gift and donor records in The Raiser’s Edge (RE) in order to efficiently provide accurate contribution revenue reporting and donor acknowledgment correspondence. Input daily contribution details into RE in accordance with Gift Batch Entry processes. Produce donor acknowledgement letters for signature. Scan and file signed letters in organized, retrievable manner. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities • Extensive experience with The Raiser’s Edge in a database environment that is integrated with general ledger software (i.e. The Financial Edge) is required. Experience with AuctionPay Event Software and/or Crystal Reports is preferred. If you have these skills and experience, please submit your cover letter and resume to [email protected].
