Professional Training and Internship Program

Our training graduates find entry level jobs as administrative assistants, customer service representatives, computer techs, medical assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants, Human Resources Assistants, and more.

Spring 2011 Training: May 16-June 17

MONDAY-FRIDAY 9AM-3PM

Location:  Downtown Portland and North Portland

Career Connections is a free 3-year program that emphasizes career advising & long-term advocacy, to support you in becoming financially independent! If you are ready to commit to yourself and your goals, then so are we!

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:

18-24 years old & a resident of the City of Portland

  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Qualify as low income
  • Interested in building a career and/or going to college

  

Start with a challenging five week professional training:

  • Opportunities to increase confidence, motivation, and hope
  • Networking with local professionals & exploring career options
  • Learning résumé writing and interview skills that will get you noticed
  • Identifying your strengths, skills, and passions
  • Develop the skills to get noticed in today’s job market

Followed by: access to exclusive Internships and three years of career and college advising

Orientations are required to learn more about this unique opportunity!
