Now Enrolling: FREE Construction Career Training For Women

Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc. is now enrolling for our 7-week, state certified pre-apprenticeship program for women who want to get started on a satisfying, living wage career in construction.

Our next class starts March 19, 2013. Here are the basics:

-- Class meets Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
-- Participants get hands-on experience working alongside skilled female instructors.
-- Explore topics like safety, construction culture, apprenticeship, and more.
-- Get an introduction to green building
-- Learn basic trades math and measurement.
-- Try out the tools of the trades through visits to job sites and apprentice training centers
-- Get strength training with a fitness trainer!
-- Receive career counseling and job placement assistance upon graduation
