Classroom Law Project (CLP) is seeking a part-time Office Assistant. The Office Assistant will provide general administrative and program support to CLP’s full-time staff.

CLP is a non-profit organization of individuals, educators, lawyers and civic leaders building strong communities by teaching students to become active citizens. CLP provides civic education opportunities to teachers and K-12 students statewide. Please visit for additional information about CLP’s projects and programs.

The Office Assistant position is 10 hours per week and pays $12/hour. Flexible schedule is a plus. Opportunities for increased responsibilities and hours are available for the right candidate.

Required Skills and Abilities:Required experience: • At least 2 years of administrative support or related experience • Office equipment: copier, fax, mail machine, etc • MS Office (Word, Excel) including mail merges, excel formulas, etc Preferred experience: • Filemaker Pro • Website Management (Wordpress) • Basic Accounting • Graphics software (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc)
Qualifications:Competitive candidates will demonstrate: • Organizational skills and attention to detail • Computer skills (familiarity with Macs preferred) • Interpersonal skills and a positive attitude • An ability to follow directions, work independently, and multi-task • An ability to lift approx. 30lbs
