We are seeking a full-time office manager for this small non-profit. The office manager has key responsibilities in maintaining office systems, providing financial services including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, donor database maintenance, correspondence with donors and volunteers, supervising office volunteers, and providing administrative support to the Executive Director and staff as needed.

Salary / Pay Rate:40 hrs/week @ $14-16/hour, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, vacation, and sick leave.

Required Skills and Abilities:Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills working with people of diverse ages and backgrounds, including staff, board members, donors, and volunteers. Strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to triage and prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as an effective team member. Perform multiple tasks with tight deadlines and multiple interruptions. Excellent written communications skills needed to compose letters and email correspondence to donors and volunteers. Experience with QuickBooks and electronic payroll processing. Experience with Salesforce (or similar relationship database). Prefer 50+ wpm typing skill. However, accuracy is more important than speed. Ability to operate basic office machinery (ie. fax, copier) and trouble-shoot ordinary problems. Ability to update website and e-communication.
Qualifications:Candidates must have at least four years of office experience. The ideal applicant will be knowledgeable in general office management and proficient in MS Office Suite, data base management using Salesforce, and QuickBooks for A/R and A/P. Because this is a small non-profit, you must be comfortable wearing many hats while maintaining a genial disposition.
