JVC Northwest is hiring an Outreach and Events Coordinator to begin in October, 2011. The full time salaried position based in Portland, OR, will build relationships with former Jesuit Volunteers and supporters through effective planning, programming and communications. This person will also be the main coordinator of special events. In collaboration with other staff, the Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing a former Jesuit Volunteer outreach plan. An undergraduate degree is required, master’s degree preferred in marketing, public relations or related area. This position requires a thorough understanding and ability to use online marketing techniques. Former Jesuit Volunteer strongly preferred. The Outreach Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.
