Part-Time Communications Coordinator

New Avenues for Youth is seeking an experienced non-profit development professional interested in working to fulfill the mission of one of Portland’s most dynamic organizations. Join our talented development team as a part-time Communications Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of communications and public relations to generate interest in, and build awareness and support for New Avenues messaging, events, programs, activities, and initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in related field, and a minimum of 3 years’ job related experience with proven success required. Prior experience with graphic design, public relations and communications highly preferred. Ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and a professional attitude.
