The Publications & Grants Coordinator will coordinate the annual grant writing calendar, assisting the Development Department in the researching and writing of grants. Additionally, this person is the organization’s story-gatherer and story-teller and will manage the production of newsletters, brochures, web content, press releases, annual reports and other internal and external communications.

Salary / Pay Rate:$34,000 - $39,000
Required Skills and Abilities:Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage process for writing & submitting grant applications, track reporting deadlines and work with programs to submit follow-up reports • Research storylines, draft copy and produce two or three newsletters and the annual report • Write press releases, articles, brochures and other marketing collateral • Update website and coordinate social media posts • Conduct foundation research and establish annual calendar • Manage a team of skilled communications volunteers
Qualifications:Education, Training and Experience: • At least one year’s experience with grant writing and grant reporting • Strong verbal, visual, and written communication • Excellent inter-personal skills, able to set people at ease, work effectively alone and with a team • Organized, detailed, and thorough in all tasks undertaken
Education Required:College degree
