New Avenues for Youth is seeking an experienced non-profit development professional interested in working to fulfill the mission of one of Portland’s most dynamic organizations. Join our talented development team as the Special Events & Community Engagement Manager. Responsibilities include coordinating and executing all aspects of special events, managing community engagement programs to further promote awareness of homeless youth issues in the community, and managing the agency’s volunteer program. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ job related experience in fundraising, managing nonprofit events, volunteer coordination and community outreach required. Ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication, strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and a professional attitude.
