We are currently looking for Supported Employment Specialist Part Time to join our Clackamas Recovery Outpatient treatment team in Clackamas, Oregon. In this position, you would fulfill the following essential functions:

• Work with patients in early recovery to obtain competitive employment to address the financial challenges to obtaining and sustaining quality housing.
• The Specialist is responsible to assure that every admitted patient is treated as capable of working competitively in the community and becoming financially self-sufficient.
• The Specialist is to offer direct assistance finding and maintaining jobs that support patients' personal strengths and motivation with the primary goal to find a natural “fit” between the patient’s strengths and experiences and jobs available in the community.
• Manage the Work in Recovery program including job development, recruitment, matching, placement, data tracking and involvement in group and program development.

Salary / Pay Rate:DOE
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work or vocational counseling with advanced course work in specific areas leading to an advanced understanding of diagnoses, functional impairments and psychosocial barriers for people with behavioral health disorders.  Minimum 2 years of related experience in a similar setting either working with individuals in recovery or providing employment related case management.  Ability to negotiate employment resources for individuals in recovery from alcohol and drug issues, work collaboratively with employers and advocate on behalf of individuals in recovery without alienating community partners.  Effective oral and written communication skills that support patient outcomes and quality communication with internal and external partners while maintaining confidentiality and establishing professional rapport.  Ability to operate a computer, utilize basic MS Office programs, and effectively navigate and maintain patient records in an electronic medical records system.  Must meet requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Associate and be certified at a minimum of CADC-I within two years of hire.  Valid Oregon Driver’s License
