Volunteer needed: Wordpress helper

Wisdom of the Elders, Inc. (WISDOM) is seeking an volunteer familiar with Wordpress to aid in the migration of our html-based website to a Wordpress-based site. We are seeking someone willing to help convert a content from the html site into Wordpress posts.

Wisdom of the Elders, Inc. (WISDOM) is a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation located in Portland, Oregon. We record and preserve oral history, cultural arts and environmental science philosophy of exemplary American Indian historians, cultural leaders and environmentalists. We share their rich messages and cultural values with under-served Native Americans and diverse public audiences in collaboration with arts, cultural and educational organizations via public radio and website production, educational materials, and public events. We especially seek to correct misconceptions, end prejudice, bring health and wellness to Native people, and demonstrate how Indian culture has and is continuing to enrich our worlds.
You will work with a team of committed individuals and become a part of a dynamic volunteer organization that includes 60 like-minded individuals, board members, teams and staff. We are more like a family and are deeply committed to WISDOM’s mission of Native American cultural sustainability, education and cross-cultural communications.
