Description
Youth Progress is a leading provider of independent living, vocational, educational and counseling services for Oregon youth coping with trauma and change. Our clients range in age from 13-24 and come from a variety of backgrounds. Most are victims of abuse and/or neglect, have no appropriate or safe home in which to live, or have been involved in the child welfare or juvenile justice system. Our aim is to look beyond the current behaviors to identify underlying issues and to create lasting change in each youth we serve. Our treatment staff teach social and life skills while addressing the client's mental and emotional health issues. The causes of inappropriate behavior are addressed in a structured program fostering empowerment and self-identity through accountability and knowledge
