NonViolence As a Way of Life Conference

September 11-14, 2008 University of Oregon, Eugene Oregon.

Based on the vision that the philosophy and practice of nonviolence can serve as a universal value for guiding all facets of human life. Keynote speakers will include: Dr. Marshall Rosenberg - creator of Nonviolent Communication Reverend C.T. Vivian - a key strategist for the Civil Rights movement, serving on Dr. Martin Luther King's executive staff during many nonviolent movements. Julia Butterfly Hill – environmental activist, author and poet, well known for her 738 day tree-sit in a 600 year old redwood tree. To make the conference accessible to as many people as possible, we offer many choices for admission price, and offer scholarships and work trade to offset the cost of admission.

What it Takes: The Top Ten Ways You Can Use the Internet to Raise Dollars and Donors

Why is it that some organizations are raising millions of dollars online and others can't quite get started?
