Volunteering

Help the Edwards Center construct a vegetable garden for its residents on Saturday

Join SOLV and the Edwards Center on Saturday, April 19 from 9 am to 1. We plan to landscape using native plants in four areas at the front of the homes and to improve the back yard at a home for disabled residents on Torbank Rd, Milwaukie so there is a gathering place available during the summer. Our goal is to make the homes look and feel user friendly while benefiting the neighborhood and our community by creating sustainable eco-friendly gardens. We will plant grass seed, add native plants, paths and create a vegetable garden. Post-event lunch will be provided. If you would like more information, please visit this website, http://www.solv.org/programs/event_details.asp?eventID=13509
