Idealist.org is looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic individuals to join a team of Grad Fair Marketing interns in the Portland office. We take our Graduate Degree Fairs for the Public Good to cities across North America and as an intern you will conduct web research and outreach to local contacts in each of the cities with which you are tasked. This internship is a great opportunity for you to use your communication, analysis, and research skills and gain practical experience about marketing within the nonprofit sector. As well, this internship is a collaborative project as you will be working closely with your fellow interns and Idealist staff.

Bitch Magazine Seeks Board Members

Hi there --We here at B-Word/Bitch are looking for some highly motivated, creative folks who are passionate about nonprofit/feminist media (and sustaining it!) to join our Board of Directors.  Might that be you? Or do you know someone? Read on... B-Word is a Portland-based nonprofit, independent, feminist media organization critiquing pop culture/media best known for publishing the magazine "Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture," but we're currently evolving into a multimedia organization. We've also just started strategic planning/visioning efforts -- which means that while it's a time of heavy work (10-15 hours a month), it's also an incredibly exciting time to get involved and help shape B-Word's future.

Save the date! Come Salvage at THE REBUILDING CENTER

Founded by volunteers in 1998, The ReBuilding Center is the nation’s largest non-profit reuse center for salvaged construction and remodeling materials.

The Rebuilding Center of Our United Villages will be hosting an "after hours" volunteer group on December 18, 6:00-8:30. We will be working in the warehouse to organize inventory and make the place look lovely for holiday shoppers. We really need some extra hands, so please come and bring a friend...or five!
