Please join us for a bee extravaganza as the beekeepers of Zenger Farm provide brief guided tours of the community bee program.

Meanwhile, inside the farmhouse we will be extracting honey from the farm and local beekeepers.

What we do: We are a home away from home for families of seriously ill or injured children whose families must travel to the Portland Area for medical treatment. We have a 16 bedroom House on the campus of OHSU/Doernbecher Children’s Hospital that provides a number of community areas, a double-sized kitchen, a playroom and all the comforts of home.

Position Description: The Relief Managers are here to attend to guest needs, check families in and out of the house, ensure safety and comfort, act as a resource, perform light cleaning/preparing of guest rooms and do basic office/front desk tasks.

Are you looking for a way to give back to your community and make a profound difference buy helping others?  Mentor Oregon is seeking qualified, compassionate Proctor families to care for children with developmental disabilities. We provide training, team support and a generous monthly, tax free stipend. Because of the high needs of our children, ideal families will have one stay at home parent and a spare room specifically allocated for a child. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, have reliable transportation and possess a strong commitment to support children with special needs.
