Heart of Now Sept. 18-20 in Portland!

We would love to see you at the next Heart of Now in Portland September 18-20. Heart of Now is a powerful personal growth experience and opportunity. Through listening to ourselves fully, breath and body, mind and emotion, in each moment, each person receives what they need; healing, transformation, clarity, joy, connection. And we practice the Heart of Now in a powerful container of love and support. Each workshop has a skilled and committed assistant team of folks who have taken the course before, and have come back to support you and continue their own growth. Assisting is incredibly popular and we almost always have more assistants than participants. The result is not only powerful personal transformation.

Legislative “New Hands” Assess the Session

On September 11, City Club welcomes Representatives Jules Kopel Bailey of District 42, Chris Garrett from District 38, Tobias Read of District 27 and Ben Cannon from District 46 to discuss their views of the 75th legislative session.

New eyes often bring fresh perspectives to an issue. These new viewpoints can result in great changes when the issues are those – like health care, transportation or the economy – that affect our daily lives, and when those newcomers have the power to shape public policy. On September 11, City Club welcomes four young state representatives who will share their experiences as first-time legislators or as committee chairs.
