ASTD-Cascadia Conference Offers CEUs

The ASTD-Cascadia 2009 Regional Conference at the Salem Conference Center Sept. 23-24 offers several continuing education and recertification credit opportunities for participants. The HR Certification Institute has approved various sessions for PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification; Portland State University is offering one hour of elective college credit; and National ASTD has recognized the event as qualifying for recertification credits needed by Certified Professionals in Learning and Performance. 4th Annual Green Sprouts Organic Baby and Family Fest

The ReDirect Guide announces the 4th annual Green Sprouts Organic Baby & Family Festival on September 26th from 10am-5pm at Peninsula Park in Portland. ARRRR! 7th Annual Aquifer Adventure - VOLUNTEERS still needed!

If you are sitting on the plank about volunteering for this very special Columbia Slough Watershed Council and Water Bureau event, get off your peg-leg and give me a shout. We are expecting about 500 people again this year and our amazing volunteers are the only thing standing between Aquifer Adventure being a rousing success or a trip to Davey Jones' locker. We are still in need of Greeters/Parking Controllers – this shift is from 11:00am – 3:00pm.  If you are interested in this awesome volunteer opportunity please contact me and I will sign you up!  Please see below for more information and thanks a heap for volunteerin’ matey!
